Download Edkimo Accessibility Statement

Objective

Our goal is to make the Edkimo offers generally accessible.

With this declaration, we want to make it transparent where accessibility already exists, and which barriers still need to be removed.

We have already made improvements to the existing Edkimo software in 2024 and then decided to put the platform on a new technical foundation in order to make our offering fundamentally accessible from 2025.

The update of the new platform will be rolled out gradually to all users from March to May 2025.

Legal basis

The Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) comes into force on June 25, 2025. The law implements the European Accessibility Directive.

This accessibility statement applies to:

  • edkimo.com (hereinafter also referred to as “app”)

1. Homepage

The edkimo.com website is aimed at various target groups:

  • Users can access the registration or login page from here.
  • Participants can access the page for entering a survey code or results code from here.
  • Interested parties can find out about what Edkimo offers.

These groups of people are referred to collectively as “visitors”.

The website is almost barrier-free for visitors.

Improvements are planned in the following areas:

  • Homepage in plain language (Q2/2025)
  • Explanation of accessibility in plain language (Q2/2025)
  • Data protection declaration in plain language (Q2/2025)

2. App (participants)

Every day, more than 10,000 people take part in surveys using the Edkimo app.

Participants use a variety of devices for this: computer, tablet or smartphone. The app is browser-based, with an optional mobile app for iOS- and Android-based devices. The app is barrier-free for participants who want to answer a questionnaire.

3. App (users)

There are approximately 100,000 users on Edkimo who create their own questionnaire templates, conduct surveys, share the results with participants and discuss them together. Between 50 and 100 new people register with Edkimo every day.

The app is accessible for users.
